Rockets beat Spurs 93-82 to win third straight

(SportsRadio 610) - Tari Eason led the Rockets with a season-high 18 points and 14 rebounds off the bench and they beat the San Antonio Spurs to win their third straight game Monday night at Toyota Center.

For the Spurs, it's a franchise-record 17th straight loss, this time 93-82 to Houston. Fred VanVleet led all starters with 16 points, while Alperen Sengun added 15. Jabari Smith Jr. added nine points with 12 rebounds.


Spurs rookie sensation Victor Wembanyama had 15 points and 18 rebounds in the losing effort. The Rockets have now beaten the Oklahoma City Thunder, Denver Nuggets and Spurs in consecutive games, after losing three straight prior to the win streak.

Rockets rookie Amen Thompson scored two points in 10 minutes after missing the previous 15 games with a sprained ankle.
