The Houston Rockets allowed a 16-point lead at home against the Oklahoma City Thunder turn into a 17-point deficit, eventually losing 123-110.
Houston was in control for much of the first half and third quarter, before collapsing against one of the league's better teams.
All-NBA point guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led Oklahoma City with 36 points, seven assists and five rebounds. Chet Holmgren added 29 points, eight rebounds and seven assists. Jalen Williams scored 22 points for the Thunder.
The Rockets were led by Fred VanVleet and Jabari Smith Jr., who scored 20 points apiece. Smith also had 17 rebounds. It was his second straight game with at least 20 points and 16 boards.
Alperen Sengun had 19 points and 12 rebounds. Dillon Brooks and Jalen Green added 13 points and 11 points, respectively.
Rookie Cam Whitmore scored 15 points off the bench for the Rockets.
With the loss, Houston falls to 25-32, which puts them 4.5 games out of the 10th seed for the final play-in spot. Meanwhile, the Thunder (40-17) are tied for the Western Conference top spot with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
