The Houston Rockets did not have any trouble making light work of the Washington Wizards on Wednesday night at Toyota Center.
Kevin Durant led the way for Houston with 23 points in the 135-112 victory.
Reed Sheppard came off the bench to add 21 points on 8-of-11 shooting, including 5-of-8 from 3-point range. Tari Eason scored 20 points on 7-of-12 shooting, including 4-of-6 from 3.
Amen Thompson was also incredible with 18 points, while Alperen Sengun recorded a double-double with 16 points and 13 rebounds, while Jabari Smith Jr. chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds.
The win improves the Rockets to 7-3 as they've won seven of their last eight games after starting 0-2 on the season.
The Rockets led by as many as 29 points in this game.
It's a nice start to a three-game homestand for Houston. The Rockets host the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday, then the Orlando Magic on Sunday.
