HOUSTON (SportsRadio 610)- After missing the first six games of the season with a left lower leg stress reaction, Rockets forward Tari Eason could make his season debut on Wednesday, Rockets head coach Ime Udoka said before Monday's game against the Sacramento Kings.
"He had a good day today," Udoka said. "Got some live action in. He'll practice tomorrow, and if all goes well, possibly play Wednesday."
Eason played in the Rockets first two preseason games, converting on 8-of-11 shots from the field, but he hasn't played since. Udoka said he'd miss 2-3 weeks on October 21.
The 22-year old, whom the Rockets drafted 17th overall in 2022, played in all 82 games as a rookie, starting five, averaging 9.3 points and 6 rebounds per game in 21.5 minutes, which earned him Second Team All-Rookie honors.
