Rockets go down 3-1 against Warriors as Jalen Green struggles again in Game 4
The Rockets had their fair share of opportunities to even the series against the Golden State Warriors on Monday night.
But they failed to cash in. Houston will be remembered in this game for missing 12 foul shots and once again getting a single-digit performance from its leading scorer of the regular season.
The Warriors beat the Rockets 109-106 to take a 3-1 series lead. Alperen Şengün led all scorers with 31 points, but much of it came with Draymond Green on the bench in foul trouble.
Fred VanVleet had his best game of the series, scoring 25 points on 8-of-12 from 3-point range. But Jalen Green, who led the Rockets in scoring in the regular season, had his third single-digit scoring output of the series.
With the 38-point Game 2 performance as an outlier sandwiched in between, Green's scored 7, 9 and 8 in the other three games.
On Payne & Pendergast, Seth and Sean discuss the Rockets not really meeting the moment in the loss.
