Veteran Rockets forward P.J. Tucker is drawing the interest of multiple contenders looking fortify their rosters at the NBA trade deadline.

Tucker, 35, has become one of the league's most versatile defenders and reliable 3-point shooters since joining the Rockets in 2017.

According to The Athletic's Shams Charania, the Nets, Bucks, Heat, Nuggets and Lakers are expressing interest in Tucker. Multiple teams sense a deal could develop sooner rather than later, Charania reports. The timing likely depends on the Rockets' asking price.

The Rockets are seeking young player back in a trade, according to Charania.

While Tucker's numbers are down this season, he still impacts just with his presence.
