Rookies Whitmore, Thompson lead Rockets against Clippers to finish at .500

The Rockets' rookies led them to victory in the final game of the season.

Cam Whitmore scored a team-high 21 points and Amen Thompson recorded his first career triple-double to lead Houston to a 116-105 win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday. Thompson scored 18 points with 11 rebounds and 10 assists.

Jabari Smith Jr. added 15 points and Jalen Green scored 13. Boban Marjanovic had 13 points in 12 minutes off the bench. Nate Williams also added 13 points off the bench.

At 41-41, it's a 19-win improvement from a season ago for the Rockets.
