Sean Pendergast does not want the Rockets to sign Kyrie Irving

If you've been following Rockets offseason news, then you are aware there is possibility of a James Harden reunion.

Harden is opting out of his contract for a new deal and the Rockets are among the teams with the most salary cap space (nearly $60 million). Of course, there is also the somewhat complicated history, though internally within the Rockets organization it is believed Harden left on good terms.

But there is also the possibility Harden signs elsewhere. He happens to be among the top free agents available this offseason, particularly at a position of need for Houston.

So a potential backup plan? Kyrie Irving, the mercurial point guard who won a championship with the Cleveland Cavaliers before stops with the Boston Celtics, Brooklyn Nets and most recently traded to the Dallas Mavericks .

It turns out Irving is one of our morning show co-host Sean Pendergast's least favorite athletes, so much that he'd renounce his Rockets fandom if they signed Irving.

In this segment, Sean and Seth Payne discuss Rockets guard Jalen Green wanting to learn from Kyrie Irving, and lay out why they would rather that didn't happen.
