(SportsRadio 610) - Ahead of a much anticipated debut for the Cleveland Browns against his old team, Deshaun Watson and Texans CEO Cal McNair shook hands Sunday at NRG Stadium.

A little more than an hour before the Texans host the Browns in Watson's first regular season game since January 2021, Watson went to greet McNair as he spoke with Browns owner Jimmy Haslam.

Notably, Cal's wife Hannah McNair turned her back as Watson approached.

The background, we all know. Watson requested a trade from the Texans shortly after the 2020 season, in which they went 4-12 but Watson was the NFL passing leader. Then the following March, lawsuits began to pile up from more than two dozen women alleging sexual assault, harassment and misconduct during massage therapy sessions.

Most of the lawsuits were settled and Watson was cleared by two Houston-area grand juries of any criminal wrongdoing. The Texans traded him this past spring to the Browns for three first-round picks, a third-round pick and a fourth-round pick.
