Did Texans QB C.J. Stroud kill the S2 cognition test?
C.J. Stroud infamously performed poorly on a pre-draft cognition test that, as it turns out, was no indicator of how good of an NFL quarterback he would be as a rookie.
The so-called S2 cognition test is used by a handful of teams to measure a player's game-speed cognitive abilities. Yet, for whatever reason, it misjudged Stroud, the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. Or, perhaps Stroud viewed the test as useless, and therefore did not take it seriously.
Either way, you don't hear much about the S2 in this draft cycle. Did Stroud's success kill its credibility?
