Texans end losing skid with 34-10 win over Cowboys
The Houston Texans are back on the winning track after defeating the Dallas Cowboys on the road, 34-10.
Houston was in control from the start, jumping out to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter behind a pair of Joe Mixon touchdown runs. Dallas responding by outscoring the Texans in the second quarter, 10-3, but Houston went into halftime with a 17-10 advantage.
The Texans not only scored 17 points in the second half, where they have struggled to score touchdowns this season, but they shut the Cowboys out in the third and fourth quarters.
Mixon was by far Houston's best player, rushing for 109 yards and three touchdowns on 20 carries.
