Texans will be without five defensive starters at Packers

If the Texans are going to take down one of the best teams in the NFC on Sunday, they will have to do so without five of their defensive starters.

In addition to the four-game suspension for defensive tackle Mario Edwards for violating the league's substance abuse policy, four other Texans defensive starters have officially been ruled out for Sunday's game with injuries.

Starting linebackers Azeez Al-Shaair (knee) and Henry To'oTo'o (concussion), who are also the team's top two tacklers, are both out against the Packers. Veteran Neville Hewitt and Jake Hansen will likely be called upon to pick up the slack.

In the secondary, veteran starting safety Jimmie Ward (groin) and rookie cornerback Kamari Lassiter (shoulder) will both miss their second straight game. For Ward, it will be the third missed game over the last four.

Expect to see more of Eric Murray in Ward's place and D'Angelo Ross in place of Lassiter.
