Former Texans wide receiver Jacoby Jones dies at age 40
Former Houston Texans wide receiver Jacoby Jones is dead at the age of 40.
Jones had most recently become head coach for the Beaumont Renegades, an indoor football expansion franchise. He spent the first five seasons of his NFL career with the Texans, which included the franchise's first AFC South division title and an infamous playoff moment for Jones.
The next season, Jones would join the Baltimore Ravens where he made his lone Pro Bowl and All-Pro appearance as a kick returner in 2012. The Ravens also won the Super Bowl, where Jones was tremendous
Jones was the first player ever to score a receiving touchdown and return touchdown in a Super Bowl.
The cause of his death was not immediately known.
