How much did Texans improve in this 2024 NFL Draft?

Judging from the Texans' nine-player draft, in which they did not pick until the second round, it seems fair to say they were selecting for depth and competition.

There is no sure fire starter in the group, like last year's two first-round picks C.J. Stroud and Will Anderson Jr.

Those two players, of course, went on to win Rookie of the Year for their respective sides of the ball and change the Texans' trajectory for the foreseeable future.
