(SportsRadio 610) - The Texans are 1-4-1 six games into Lovie Smith's tenure as their head coach.
There was never an expectation the Texans would be good this year, so the record is not surprising. But given the circumstances under which Smith was hired, and where this team will be next year in the third season of a rebuild under general manager Nick Caserio, it's worth wondering if this is the direction the Texans want to go.
On Payne & Pendergast, Seth and Sean discuss if Texan fans think Head Coach Lovie Smith is on track to be fired after only one season; if the Texans are on the right track but just not there yet, or both.
Audacy NFL insider Ross Tucker first brought the idea to the show, assuming the Texans would be drafting a quarterback in 2023 and would want to align him with an offensive head coach.
