No one seems to dispute Deshaun Watson's trade request.
The Texans quarterback has no intentions of continuing to be the Texans quarterback in the future, even though Watson has not spoken publicly on the subject.
But we've heard from Texans legend Andre Johnson, who encouraged Watson to stand his ground against the team and was later photographed with him at a Rockets game that same night.
Deion Sanders, hosting a virtual event for the Pro Bowl featuring Watson, joked about the trade request. Watson didn't exactly shoot down the idea.
Former Texans teammate Kareem Jackson said he's spoken to Watson about possibly approving a trade to the Denver Broncos.
Now, you can add Jalen Ramsey to the list of others speaking for Watson.
The Rams cornerback, who is also represented by agent David Mulugheta, told the Huddle & Flow podcast "I highly doubt he will suit up in a Texans' uniform again. He's extremely serious."
Ramsey would have insight with this, considering his connection to Mulugheta, and the pair orchestrating a trade of their own from the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2019.
Ramsey requested a trade after a heated confrontation with then-coach Doug Marrone on the sideline at NRG Stadium in Week 2 of the 2019 season.
While Ramsey sat out with a reported back injury until a trade to the Rams was worked out, he appeared in Houston with Watson and Mulugheta for an Instagram photo.
Ramsey isn't saying anything the public does not already suspect, but he adds a credible voice, presumably in the know about how bad the situation is.
With the Texans -- at least so far -- adamant about not trading Watson, this standoff continues.
