HOUSTON (SportsRadio 610) -- Texas tight end Jordan Akins left Sunday's game against the Vikings with a concussion after a helmet-to-helmet hit by safety Harrison Smith.
Akins was evaluated for a concussion and it was announced in the third quarter that he would not return to the game.
Smith, a Pro Bowl safety for the Vikings, was ejected from the game because of the hit.
