Texans fall to Lions on Sunday Night Football despite getting five interceptions
Despite the Detroit Lions throwing five interceptions to the Houston Texans on Sunday Night Football, they were still able to beat the hometown team with a last-second field goal.
It's the second time this season the Texans won the turnover battle and time of possession against a NFC North opponent, only to not make enough plays offensively in the second half and still lose on a late field goal attempt.
Lions kicker Jake Bates, a Tomball native, nailed a 52-yarder to seal the 26-23 victory for Detroit. This despite the Texans leading 23-7 at halftime. They failed to score any points in the second half.
