Texans' Nico Collins, centers Juice Scruggs and Jarrett Patterson return to practice
Texans wide receiver Nico Collins returned to practice Thursday after missing the previous day with hip and foot injuries.
Collins has been the Texans' (2-0) top pass catcher through the first two weeks and is expected to play Sunday when they visit the Minnesota Vikings (also 2-0).
Also returning to practice for Houston were centers Juice Scruggs and Jarrett Patterson. Scruggs missed the previous game against the Chicago Bears with a groin injury, while Patterson filled in. Both of them missed Wednesday's practice, with Patterson suffering from a calf injury.
It is unclear what either player's game status will be, but the Texans are prepared to start Kendrick Green at center if necessary. Collins, Scruggs and Patterson were all limited participants in Thursday's practice.
