Texans cornerback Shaquill Griffin is getting adjusted to his new team after spending the last two seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Born and raised in Florida, Griffin is no stranger to playing in the heat. But he admits Texas heat is on a different level.
Still, the 2019 Pro Bowler is hoping to add a new element to this Texans defense. After Wednesday's practice, he spoke on In The Loop about everything from DeMeco Ryans' defense, which he's already familiar with from playing in Seattle; his love for bowling; favorite movie theatre snacks; what he's seeing from C.J. Stroud and Davis Mills; and how he's approaching the game differently since his back injury.
According to Griffin, Stroud is the biggest trash talker at practice among the offensive players. The rookie QB!
