The Texans are addressing their injured linebacker situation by signing former Pro Bowler Devin White, who was recently released by the Philadelphia Eagles.
White, 26, spent the first five seasons of his career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he won a Super Bowl in 2020 and was named to the Pro Bowl in 2021. White signed a one-year deal with the Eagles this offseason before he was released earlier this month.
He joins a linebacker group decimated by injuries, with starters Azeez Al-Shaair (knee) and Henry To'oTo'o (concussion) missing the Texans' most recent game, a loss at the Green Bay Packers. Christian Harris has not played this season and it is unclear when he might return from a calf injury.
