Stoerner: Texans rookie Kamari Lassiter seems like a nickel cornerback

There was plenty of excitement about the Texans drafting nine players over the weekend, despite them trading out of the first round well ahead of the draft.

It meant Houston did not really get busy until Day 2, although general manager Nick Caserio did work the phones to possibly trade back into the first round.

The Texans ended up with former Georgia cornerback Kamari Lassiter with their first of two second-round picks. Then they selected former Notre Dame offensive tackle Blake Fisher with their second pick.

On The Drive, Clint Stoerner is not a big fan of either pick. He's especially concerned about Lassiter's speed in the 40-yard dash, where he ran a 4.6 at his Pro Day.

With B.Scott filling in for Ron Hughley, Stoerner talks about what he believes Lassiter's role looks like going forward: nickel corner.
