Texans' Tank Dell, Joe Mixon ruled out against Jaguars

The Texans will be without top running back Joe Mixon for a second straight game as he recovers from an ankle injury. They will also be missing wide receiver Tank Dell when they host the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.

Both players were ruled out ahead of the game. Dell is dealing with a chest injury sustained in last Sunday's road loss to the Minnesota Vikings. He did not participate in practices during the week.

Veteran safety Jimmie Ward, who has a groin injury, is also inactive for Sunday's game. Backup running back Dameon Pierce will miss his third straight game with a hamstring injury.

The Texans (2-1) look to take an even great lead in the AFC South by beating the Jaguars. Only one other team in the division (Colts, 1-2) has a win.
