(SportsRadio 610) - The Texans added some help to the running back room by agreeing to a one-year deal with former Buffalo Bills back Devin Singletary.
Houston needed to support Dameon Pierce in the back field after a strong rookie season with another productive running back. Singletary, 25, has been that in the past.
Singletary averaged 4.6 yards per carry the past two seasons and has never averaged less than 4.4 yards per carry in his four NFL seasons.
The Texans on Monday agreed to a one-year deal with Singletary worth up to $3.75 million, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
