(SportsRadio 610) - Texans second-year cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. returned to practice Wednesday after missing six games with a hamstring injury.
Stingley, the Texans' No. 3 overall pick in 2022, has been on the injured reserve since September after starting against the Baltimore Ravens and Indianapolis Colts.
He returned to practice Wednesday along with backup offensive tackle Charlie Heck. Both players are designated for return. With Stingley out, the Texans have mostly relied on Steven Nelson and Shaq Griffin as their top outside corners.
Stingley's return to practice signals he could be available for Sunday when the Texans (4-4) travel to face the Cincinnati Bengals (5-3).
