HOUSTON (SportsRadio 610) -- The Texans are 1-6 after losing to the Packers at home on Sunday.
Despite moving the ball some in the second half, the Texans could not rally from a 21-0 halftime deficit and dropped Sunday’s game 35-20.
Aaron Rodgers threw for 283 yards, completing 23 of his 34 passes for four touchdowns. Davante Adams caught 13 of those passes for a career-high 196 yards and two touchdowns.
Deshaun Watson threw for 301 yards, completing 28-of-38 passes for two touchdowns. It was Watson’s fourth straight game with 300+ passing yards, but it was not nearly enough to make up for the Texans’ deficiencies on defense and inability to run the ball.
The Texans now prepare for their bye week, then return to action Nov. 8 on the road against the Jaguars, the only team they’ve beaten this season.
