Wide receiver Stefon Diggs will wear No. 1 for the Houston Texans.
That means the Texans have a new 7-1-3 connection, in the spirit of the city's beloved area code. With quarterback C.J. Stroud wearing No. 7, wide receiver Tank Dell wearing No. 3 and now Diggs wearing No. 1, expect to see plenty of this 7-1-3 connection marketing.
If you remember, Dell briefly wore No. 13 last offseason before changing to 3. It is where the initial 7-1-3 connection was conceived, given how dynamic the two rookies were expected to be (and they certainly exceeded expectations).
