(SportsRadio 610) - When Texans linebacker Kamu Grugier-Hill was carted off the field in the third quarter of Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks, it looked like the scene of a potentially catastrophic injury.
Grugier-Hill had gone down untouched. Then the way his teammates gathered around and spoke about him after the game came off as grief.
But reports later Sunday night indicated the injury was not as bad as initially anticipated. NFL writer Aaron Wilson first reported Grugier-Hill suffered a knee sprain, but no torn ligament.
Texans head coach David Culley confirmed Monday when he spoke to reporters that Grugier-Hill is day-to-day.
Grugier-Hill, who signed a one-year, $3.25 million contract this past offseason, is the team's leading tackler with 94 combined.
