HOUSTON (SportsRadio 610) -- Texans outside linebacker Jacob Martin returns to the team Monday after missing two games because of testing positive for COVID-19.
Martin's positive test meant he had to self-isolate for at least 10 days, and test negative, before he could return. It knocked him out of the Nov. 8 game against the Jaguars, which the Texans won, 27-25. And Martin missed Sunday's game against the Browns, a 10-7 loss for the Texans (2-7).
Interim head coach Romeo Crennel said Martin's return is welcome because of how thin they are at the position. Against the Jaguars, they went without both Martin, who is a reserve, and starter Whitney Mercilus because of his close contact to Martin.
Martin has two sacks and a tackle for loss on the season.
