(SportsRadio 610) - Texans center Justin Britt will miss at least another four games as he continues to work through a personal situation that's held him out of action since last week.
Britt was placed on the reserve/non-football illness list Tuesday, the team announced, holding him out for at least the next four games.
The veteran center started 11 games for Houston last season, his first with the team. He was also their starter in the season-opener against the Indianapolis Colts, but did not play well.
He's been missing from practice since last week and did not play Sunday on the road against the Denver Broncos.
Scott Quessenberry is starting in his place. Britt, 31, spent the first six seasons of his career with the Seattle Seahawks, playing in the Super Bowl his rookie year.
In other roster moves, the Texans put linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis (groin) on the injured list.
