(SportsRadio 610) - A Harris County grand jury will consider Friday whether to charge Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson for a felony related to sexual assault allegations from eight women.
Also on Friday, Watson will be deposed for the 22 civil cases filed against him, also alleging various levels misconduct. Watson's attorney Rusty Hardin told the New York Times earlier this week that his client will plead the Fifth Amendment to avoid possibly incriminating himself for the criminal investigation.
What happens Friday could lay the groundwork for Watson being traded by the Texans. The player and team agreed to him sitting out last season while they tried to work a trade, which never materialized because of the off-field issues.
