The Texans are reuniting with edge rusher Jacob Martin on a one-year deal, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Friday afternoon.
Martin, who played for Houston from 2019-21, had recently visited with the team after spending last season with the New York Jets and Denver Broncos.
Martin has 16 career sacks since his rookie season with the Seattle Seahawks in 2018. He was traded to Houston before the 2019 off-season in a deal for Jadeveon Clowney.
Martin's best season was in 2021, when he recorded four sacks, five tackles for loss, six quarterback hits and a safety.
