HOUSTON (SportsRadio 610) -- Texans running back Duke Johnson has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals with a neck injury.
This will be the the second straight game without Duke Johnson, who had been the main back with David Johnson either injured or on the reserve-COVID-19 list.
The Texans will rely on a mix of David Johnson, Buddy Howell and C.J. Prosise when they host the Bengals on Sunday.
Prosise, who sometimes returns kicks for the Texans, missed last week's game against the Colts with an ankle injury. He was a full participant in practice Thursday and Friday.
Cornerback Phillip Gaines (knee) is questionable for Sunday after being limited in practice all week. Gaines missed the Texans' last two games against the Colts and Bears.
