The Texans are replacing center Nick Martin with former Seattle Seahawk Justin Britt, who agreed to a one-year deal with the team.
Britt, who last played in 2019 before tearing his ACL midway through the season, announced the signing on social media.
The deal is reportedly worth up to $5 million, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Britt was unsigned in 2020 after being released by the Seahawks. Britt, 29, was a second-round pick by the Seahawks in 2014.
Last month, the Texans cut ties with Martin after five seasons with the team. That move saved the Texans $6.25 million in salary cap space.
