(SportsRadio 610) - The Texans are acquiring offensive lineman Kendrick Green from the Pittsburgh Steelers for a future sixth-round pick, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero first reported Tuesday.
Green, who was a third-round pick by the Steelers in 2021, started 15 games at center his rookie season. But it was a tough year for Green, who committed six penalties.
He moved to guard last season and while on the active roster, Green was inactive every game.
The Texans are sending a 2025 sixth-round pick to Pittsburgh for Green, who could provide depth for Houston's interior offensive line as the team cuts down to 53 players.
