HOUSTON (SportsRadio 610) - Texans offensive lineman Tytus Howard left Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars after suffering an apparent knee injury.

It happened on the Texans' final offensive play of the first quarter, when C.J. Stroud escaped pressure and found fellow rookie Tank Dell for a deep pass that was negated by an illegal shift penalty called against Dell.

Howard went down favoring his knee and was later carted to the locker room. His return is listed as questionable. Meanwhile, rookie Juice Scruggs entered the game on the following Texans' offensive drive as Howard's replacement at left guard.

The Texans marched down for a five-play, 75-yard touchdown drive capped by Stroud throw to Dell for the score, cutting Jacksonville's lead to 10-7 with 6:37 to go in the second quarter.
