This Texans rookie is turning heads at minicamp

When the Texans drafted cornerback Kamari Lassiter in the second round a couple of months ago, there was some attention paid to his perceived lack of speed.

Lassiter, a two-time national champion at Georgia, ran a poor 40-yard dash time, even though his play speed never appeared to be a problem on film.

It raised the question as to whether he could truly be a starting outside corner in the NFL, or if he would have to make his living playing nickel corner.

As it turns out, Lassiter is in a true competition to start on the outside, opposite Derek Stingley Jr. He is taking some first-team reps, and making plays against special players like newcomer Stefon Diggs.

On The Drive, Clint Stoerner and Ron Hughley react to Lassiter's player at minicamp. They revisit their belief that Lassiter is strictly a nickel corner in the league.
