(SportsRadio 610) - The Texans trail the AFC South champion Tennessee Titans 21-0 at halftime of Sunday's regular season finale.
Tennessee scored on three touchdowns in the second quarter after a scoreless opening period. The Titans first scored on an 11-play, 94-yard drive capped by a five-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Ryan Tannehill to Anthony Firkser.
Houston was unable to sustain the following drive and Tennessee responded with another long touchdown drive, this time for nine plays and 85 yards punctuated by a 14-yard catch-and-run score to A.J. Brown.
The Texans had the ball again, but went three-and-out, allowing the Titans to march down the field for another touchdown drive before the end of the first half. An interception by Lonnie Johnson Jr. was negated by a pass interference penalty on safety Eric Murray.
Tannehill later found Nick Westbrook-Ikhine for a four-yard touchdown.
The Titans outgained the Texans 268 to 67 total net yards. Tennessee has 17 first downs compared to the Texans' four.
