(SportsRadio 610) -- Suffice it to say Texans players were not happy about wide receiver Will Fuller being shopped at the trade deadline.
Leading up to the Nov. 3 deadline, the Texans had been in discussions with the Green Bay Packers about trading the Texans' top wide receiver for draft compensation, but the two sides could not agree on value.
Texans interim head coach Romeo Crennel has indicated not enough was offered for Fuller, and his 77-yard catch-and-run for a touchdown in Sunday's win against the Jacksonville Jaguars was an example of why they would not except anything less than a premium package for him.
It's Fuller's sixth consecutive game with a touchdown.
Deshaun Watson was asked after the game how it felt still having Fuller.
"It would've been hell if they would've did that, for sure, honestly," Watson said, laughing but clearly serious. "I'm glad to continue to play with Will. We've been making a lot of big, big plays together since I got into this league. We're going to continue to do that as we continue to grow this year and hopefully the rest of our career."
When Fuller, who is a free agent after this season, was asked about how he took in the deadline, he made it clear he was unhappy with it.
"To be honest, it really sucked just being shopped around like that," Fuller said. "Just giving this organization my all, coming to work every day, very unselfish player, do everything they ask, and then just to be shopped around, I did feel a certain type of way.
"But I'm happy to be here. I'm happy to play with Deshaun and continue to try to get wins with this organization.
