Make it two-thirds of Scary Hours headed to Tokyo?

According to NBA Insider Shams Charania, James Harden has also committed to play for Team USA in the Olympic Games, joining Kevin Durant on the squad that will try to defend the gold medal won in 2016 in Rio by the team that included KD and fellow Nets Kyrie Irving and DeAndre Jordan:

Per Shams, Kyrie is unlikely to play due to the ankle injury he suffered in the midst of Brooklyn’s seven-game loss to the Bucks in the Eastern Conference semifinals.

Nets GM Sean Marks spoke to the media Monday after the Nets' elimination, and said that he had no problems with KD, at least, playing for Team USA as long as he "met all the physical markers," quipping that "it's very difficult to turn down playing for your country."

Harden was not on the 2016 squad, as he withdrew from consideration that June, but KD, Kyrie, and Jordan were three of the 12 that went 8-0 and defeated Serbia in the gold medal game, finishing off an undefeated 13-0 summer where they won their baker’s dozen by an average of 30.3 points per game.

Durant, who just committed on Sunday after the Nets were eliminated, and Irving were key leaders of that team, with KD averaging a team-high 19.4 points per game in the Olympics and Irving leading the team with 4.9 assists.
Jordan was also the leading rebounder at 6.9 per to complete the soon-to-be Nets teammates’ sweep.
