Rocky River, Ohio (92.3 The Fan) – Deshaun Watson smiled briefly amid the raindrops that were falling as he walked to his golf cart Monday afternoon.
Watson attended the annual Cleveland Browns Foundation golf outing, another opportunity for the embattled quarterback to escape the growing storm that surrounds him.
“I think Deshaun, but really all of our players really understand how important it is to get into the community and give back,” head coach Kevin Stefanski said prior to the outing getting underway at Westwood Country Club. “That’s something that’s really important to our players. We talked about it this morning. So I think all of our guys being out here just today obviously but then moving forward we’ve had guys doing visits all spring in the schools.
We’ll continue to do that. It’s a big part of who we are.”
Monday morning, a 24th lawsuit against Watson was filed in Texas Civil court alleging misconduct by the quarterback during therapeutic massage sessions.
This latest suit details another encounter in which Watson is accused of improper behavior during a therapy session.
According to the latest court filing, the therapist stopped the session after Watson got an erection and began to masturbate in front of and then ejaculated on the alleged victim’s chest and face. The therapist left the profession shortly after that according to the court filing.

Watson continues to maintain his innocence in the face of a specific pattern of behavior with therapists that has been alleged by two dozen women. Eighteen other therapists have come to Watson’s defense and said that he did not behave inappropriately with them.
Monday, Stefanski continued to sidestep questions about the new accusations levied against Watson.
“With that, we’re trying to just be respectful of the process and let that take care of it,” Stefanski said.
Watson has not spoken with reporters since his introductory press conference in March.
Watson didn’t golf but he rode around the course for meet and greets with team sponsors and partners who were participating.
Watson’s teammates have praised the three-time Pro Bowl quarterback’s leadership and influence within the locker room since his arrival.
Last month Watson took nearly 25 members of the offense on a trip to the Bahamas for workouts and team bonding.
