Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase were unstoppable at LSU together and now the rest of the NFL has been put on notice about how dangerous this duo can continue to be.

Burrow connected with Chase 11 times on Sunday for 266 yards and three touchdowns en route to a 34-31 upset win over the Kansas City Chiefs to clinch the AFC North for the Cincinnati Bengals.

Chase recorded the most receiving yards in a single game ever by an NFL rookie and became the youngest player in NFL history with 200 receiving yards and three touchdowns in a game, with the only other 21-year-olds to have at least 150 yards and three touchdowns being Randy Moss and Jerry Butler, per ESPN Stats and Info.

He also broke the rookie record set by another former LSU teammate, Justin Jefferson, with 1,429 receiving yards this season.

What made the Bengals’ win even more impressive was not only did they beat the defending AFC champion Chiefs, but that they trailed for nearly the entire game before taking a lead for the first time with 11:44 remaining when Burrow connected with Tyler Boyd for his fourth touchdown of the game.

The Chiefs would tie the game at 31 before Burrow orchestrated a 15-play game-winning drive that was capped by Evan McPherson’s game-winning field goal.

Meanwhile, Burrow has thwarted himself into the MVP conversation in recent weeks. He completed 30-of-39 pass attempts and finished with 446 passing yards and four touchdowns.

He now has thrown for 971 yards and eight touchdowns over the past two weeks.

Burrow did appear to limp and grab his knee as he came off the field at the end of the last fourth quarter drive, but with the division wrapped up the Bengals can be conservative with Burrow heading into the playoffs.
