At least the Bills' painful playoff loss to the Kansas City Chiefs has not deterred Josh Allen’s sense of humor.
The Buffalo Bills quarterback was in attendance at the NFL Honors ceremony on Thursday night and took the opportunity to mock the league’s overtime rules in a bit with host Keegan-Michael Key.
Key, sitting next to Allen, talked about how he wants the show to go on and on and on and on and turned to the Bills QB for his thoughts.
“Or,” Allen began while giving the camera a quick glance. “You just end it in a way that makes sense, that’s fair and gives everyone an equal opportunity to win.”
Allen’s response drew some applause and laughter from the audience with Key nodding his head and agreeing.
The AFC Divisional Round game against the Chiefs was probably the game of the year as the two teams went back and forth several times in final minutes of the game — only for it to be decided on a coin flip in overtime, with the Chiefs winning the toss and marching downfield to score a touchdown without the Bills getting a chance to counter.

The ending has prompted some debate on the overtime rules and whether or not they should be adjusted to give the opposing offense at least one chance with the ball to counter.
It is a debate that will surely continue on through the offseason as Bills fans are left thinking what might have been.
