Saints officially hire Kellen Moore as next head coach

The New Orleans are officially hiring former Eagles' offensive coordinator Kellen Moore as their next head coach.

Moore signed with the Eagles before the 2024 season to be their offensive coordinator after spending 2023 as the LA Chargers' OC. Moore was the Cowboys' offensive coordinator from 2019-2022.

Of course, Moore played a major part in helping the Eagles win Super Bowl LIX in dominant fashion, as Philadelphia's running back Saquon Barkley set the NFL record for most yards in a season (regular season and postseason).

The Eagles were 8th in the NFL in total yards per game and 7th in the NFL in points per game this season under Moore. Philadelphia, with Saquon Barkley and an elite offensive line, finished 2nd in the NFL in rushing yards per game (179.3 yards/game).

The Eagles have had a myriad of offensive coordinators come and go over the last few years with Moore (2024), Brian Johnson (2023), and Shane Steichen (2021-2022).
