As the Rams were celebrating their trip to the Super Bowl, Samuel was on the Niners’ bench with a towel over his head and appeared to be sobbing as his season came to an abrupt end.

Beckham paused his celebration in order to run over to Samuel and console him on the hard-fought game.

Samuel led the 49ers with 26 rushing yards and 72 receiving yards, including a receiving touchdown in the loss, capping what was a breakout season for the third-year receiver.

Beckham, who has certainly been through his own fair share of ups and downs throughout his career, played exceptional for the Rams, hauling in nine catches for 113 yards in the victory for his first Super Bowl appearance.

Surely, there is probably a lot of respect for each other between those receivers.
