Bill Belichick once said he doesn’t do “SnapFace” or “Instantchat” and now it appears as if he should back down from simply text messaging, too.
The New England Patriots head coach found himself in an integral part of Brian Flores’ racial discrimination class action lawsuit against the NFL on Tuesday, with the former Dolphins head coach using text messages from Belichick as part of his evidence.

The lawsuit contains screenshots of an alleged conversation he had with Belichick, who appeared to be congratulating his former defensive assistant for getting the New York Giants head coaching job.
But, as the remainder of the conversation shows, he meant to text Brian Daboll rather than Flores.
The problem is Flores had yet to interview with the Giants, which, if the text messages are to be believed, means the Giants seemingly settled with their pick before even meeting with Flores.
While the subject matter of the lawsuit is serious and sensitive, NFL fans managed to find some levity in the fact that Belichick essentially texted the wrong “Brian” in his phone.
Of course, fans took to social media to roast the Patriots head coach for his text messaging faux pas and misuse of modern technology:
Others wondered if Belichick actually knew what he was doing the whole time and it is all part of a conspiracy to get back at the NFL for Deflategate.
