(SportsRadio 610) - Davion Davis spent the past three seasons bouncing around from NFL practice squads as an undrafted free agent wide receiver from Sam Houston State.
In October, the Texans signed Davis from the Cleveland Browns' practice squad and he finally made his first NFL catch - a 17-yard reception Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks.
Davis unfortunately suffered a season-ending leg injury. Head coach David Culley said Monday morning it is a fractured lower leg.
In Davis' place, the Texans will rely more on Phillip Dorsett, who the Texans signed to their practice squad and promoted to the active roster ahead of Sunday's game.
