Three Ohio cities were named to the Top 50 Mosquito Cities list, according to Orkin, a national pest control company.
Cleveland was the highest-ranking Ohio city on the list, at 18th among U.S. cities for the most mosquitoes. Columbus ranked 27th on the list and Cincinnati ranked 42nd. The top three mosquito cities on this year’s list are, in order, Los Angeles, Chicago and New York.
Orkin’s Top Mosquito Cities rankings are compiled based on treatment data from the metro areas where the company provided the most mosquito control service from April 1, 2022, to March 31, 2023.
