We are excited to announce the five winning schools of this year's $10,000 Give Back Giveaway contest, brought to you by Delta Community Credit Union!

VIDEO: The Star 94 team met with the winning students and teachers of each school's project, and got to hear from the students about how their project came to life. This full-length video includes every school's virtual meet up, and the surprise winning check presented by Delta Community Credit Union!

Congratulations to the Youth Give Back group from Lambert High School in Forsyth County for being this year's $10,000 Grand Prize Winners! Their Learning Pals program helped younger students not only learn during this year's virtual setbacks, but feel comfortable and encouraged as well. The Youth Give Back group, made of 7 students and led by freshman Mandy Yang, set out to teach younger students and help them through virtual learning during the COVID 19 pandemic, meeting with over 150 middle and elementary school students for creative virtual classes over a 10-week session! From lessons like creative writing, problem solving, and even physical education, these students planned, taught, and executed all of it.

Congratulations to Lovejoy High School in Clayton County for being this year's second place project! They pulled off an overwhelming weekly food drive effort, and did every step safely to ensure everyone could stay distanced. The Lovejoy high school students also created a Caring Closet! Providing necessities, clothing, and more to families in their community.

And congratulations to Rome High School in Floyd County, Rocky Mount Elementary in Cobb County, and Liberty Elementary School in Cherokee County! From singing to sign language, to competing food drives, and so much more, your efforts, and the efforts of EVERY school that participated this year, have impacted the lives of so many in your communities.
