Forsyth Welcomes a New Buc-ee’s
Georgia is getting another taste of Texas-sized convenience. A new Buc-ee’s is officially on the way to Forsyth, about an hour south of Atlanta, with construction kicking off this week on Rumble Road near Monroe County. Known for its massive footprint and loyal fan base, the travel center will feature around 100 fuel pumps along with its signature offerings like Texas barbecue, Beaver Nuggets, and homemade fudge. Beyond snacks and souvenirs, the project is expected to bring more than 200 full-time jobs to the area, making it a major economic boost for the community.

A third checked bag will cost a steep $200. There is some relief for frequent flyers as SkyMiles members will still be able to check one bag for free. As travel demand remains steady, passengers should plan ahead and factor in these added costs.

As the world’s best gather at Augusta National, local fans will be watching closely to see if a hometown talent can make history on one of golf’s biggest stages.
